The folder "Code" contains
- Kooistra_etal_WormsStorms_analysis and figures.Rmd: an R markdown script to perform the analysis and produce the figures presented in the paper.
- Luminophores_macro.txt : the ImageJ macro used for counting luminophore pixels

The folder "Data" contains
- Benthos: Macrozoobenthos data (counts and weights); lugworm cast counts and individual weights; traits for the present species derived from the trait database from Beauchard et al (2023).
- Luminescence: Prepared luminescence datasheets (.xlsx), with single-grain or single-aliquot data and modelled age. The raw data and images will be made available upon request, but are not provided here due to storage size limitations
- Pb210: measurements of 210Pb activity in deep cores (.csv)
- Luminophores: Luminophore pixel data (.csv); cropped images from luminophore cores
- Chl-a: Chlorophyll-a concentrations (.csv)
- Sediment grain size: grain size composition of long cores (.csv)
- Core scans and XRF: core scan images (.jpg) of long cores; XRF elemental composition data (.csv)
