Samples were collected onboard research vessel Nathaniel B. Palmer (Cruise NBP1409) during austral spring between 31 October to 21 November 2014 in the Bellingshausen Sea, west of the Antarctic Peninsula. 

The organic speciation of dissolved Fe was measured with competing ligand exchange adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry (CLE-AdCSV) 
using salicylaldoxime (SA, Acros organics) was employed to determine the total Fe-binding ligand concentration, [Lt], 
and the conditional stability constant, K'(FeL, Fe') (Abualhaija and van den Berg, 2014). . Alpha = K'*excess L.

Fluorescence - the negative value were observed in the deeper water than 100 m. 
The calibration equation that is used to convert Volts to chl-a concentration in units of  'mg/m3' creates negative values for the concentration when there is basically no chl-a. 
Thus, the negative values are basically 0 mg/m3.
