This folder contains the outcome of the Vaucheria growth potential experiments, performed by Jim van Belzen (2nd co-author on the Article; NIOZ Yerseke). These experiments test whether Vaucheria spores are present also in the field at locations without visible algal cover (such as low-elevation parts of the mudflat, creeks and bare mudflat). Please see the article for further details.

GrowthPotentialPlots.m
This Matlab-script is used to plot the results (as listed in the Excel file) in a neater way. The output, i.e. “GrowthPotential_PS_KET.pdf”, is used as Figure SI3 in the Article’s Supplementary Information.
