M. Weiss, B. Massalska, R. Hennekam, G-J. Reichart, S. Schouten, J. S. Sinninghe Damst\'e9, M. T. J. van der Meer\ \ Published in Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems\ \ Table 1 contains depths, ages and hydrogen isotope ratios of C36:2, and C37 and C38. Alkenones of the same chain length but different number of double bonds were integrated as one value for both C37 and C38 because of the lack of baseline separation for individual alkenones. \ \ Table 2 contains temperature and salinity indices for samples corresponding to the Ancylus Lake freshwater phase in Baltic Sea history. This table also contains values corresponding to the abundance of Group I and Group II alkenone-producing species, a parameter which serves to contextualize the environmental setting during this phase. \ \ Supplementary Table 1 contains the concentrations in ng/g sediment for all the individual alkenones detected in samples from core 64PE410-S7. Alkenones were quantified using GC-FID from known amounts of C19 ketone standard added to each total lipid extract. }
