The data set under this DOI contains the raw and processed data from the eleventh deployment of the LOCO2 mooring (LOCO2_11) in the central Irminger Sea

MOORING DEPLOYMENT INFORMATION
===============================================

Location: 59 degrees 12.05 minutes North, 39 degrees 30.24 minutes West.
Deployment: 16 September 2014 by RV Knorr (cruisenumber KN_221_4).
Recovery:  18 July 2015 by RV Pelagia (cruisenumber 64PE400).

mooring_diagram_LOCO2_11.pdf details which instrument was located where in the mooring.
Note that the depths indicated in the diagram are the design depths based on the expected bottom depth.
Final depths may deviate from the design depths, refer to instrument pressure for accurate depths.

Comments: 
- The pressure sensor of the deep ADCP was broken, a pressure record has been recontructed based on pressure of the other instruments during this deployment and behavior of the mooring (blow down) during previous deployments.
- No processed data for the optode. No calibration data available.

The applied declination correction is saved in variable adcp.sensor.magvar.

McLane Moored Profiler (MMP)

MMP CTD data in _final.zip are despiked, salinity and potential temperature and density (rel. to surface) are derived and data is converted into 1 dbar bin averaged profiles.
In _ctd_corrected_final additional quality control steps have been applied. Calibration to shipboard CTD before/after deployment (if available) and bad data has been replaced by NaNs.
